CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Police say a protester was assaulted at Piatt Park around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.
It is not clear what led to the attack. One man was arrested. No names have been released of those involved in the attack.
There is no word on the victims condition.
The Occupy Cincinnati group is expected to march from Piatt Park to City Hall on Wednesday afternoon. The group says City Council needs to change the city law, limiting freedom of speech in public space.
The group believes they should be able to gather in public spaces, like Piatt Park, to speak their beliefs.
So far, 241 citations have been issued in Piatt Park by the City of Cincinnati.
Wednesday marks day 12 of Occupy Cincinnati.
