Cincinnati, OH (FOX19) - So much for easing back into things. ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting Carson Palmer will start for the Raiders on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Palmer was traded to Oakland on Tuesday and practiced for the first time Wednesday ending 10 months away from football. Palmer replaces Jason Campbell who is out with a broken collar bone. The other two quarterbacks on the Raiders roster and Kyle Boller and Terrelle Pryor.
After the Chiefs game the Raiders have a bye week. Oakland's next game is set for November 6th at home against the Broncos.
