CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Negotiating teams from Cincinnati State and the College's chapter of the American Association of University Professors met for approximately four hours Thursday, but were not able reach a final agreement.
The two sides agreed to meet again on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
Thursday's session began about 4 p.m. and ended at 8 p.m.
The most recent contract between Cincinnati State and the AAUP expired Sept. 5. AAUP members conducted a week-long strike from Sept. 23 to Sept. 30. They have been working since then under terms of the old contract.
The AAUP represents about 200 full-time faculty members at Cincinnati State. The college also employs about 575 part-time adjuncts and approximately 325 administrative/staff workers.
