Three soldiers killed in Afghanistan

(FOX19) - The deaths of three soldiers who were supporting Operation Enduring Freedom were announced by the Department of Defense, Sunday.

According to the Department of Defense, they were killed on October 22 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of injuries when enemy forces attacked their unit with an explosive device.

The soldiers who were killed were First Lieutenant Ashley White, 24, of Alliance, Ohio, who was assigned to 230th Brigade Support Battalion, 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team, North Carolina National Guard, Goldsboro, North Carolina and Sergeant First Class Kristoffer B. Domeji, 29, of San Diego, California and Private First Class Christopher Horns, 20, of Colorado Springs, Colorado. They were both assigned to 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
