CINCINNATI (AP) - Cincinnati's latest Tall Stacks riverboat festival is being delayed because of other events competing for sponsorship money.
The next Tall Stacks Music, Arts & Heritage Festival had been tentatively planned for October 2012.
Organizers say they hope to reschedule for 2013. They indicate that a 2012 edition of Tall Stacks would have had difficulty landing sponsors because of the World Choir Games, also set for next year in Cincinnati.
Tall Stacks started in 1988 to celebrate Cincinnati's bicentennial and has been held six times since then. The last time was in 2006 and featured 16 boats that drew 800,000 spectators.
