HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - A Butler County man has been arrested for drug charges after an investigation by the Butler County Sheriff's Regional Narcotics task force.
On Thursday night, undercover agents executed a search warrant at 1323 Dayton Street, within the area of two city schools (Garfield Junior High and Fairwood Elementary).
Agents arrested Gregory Peck, 31. Police say Peck had 36 grams of heroin and $4,526 in his pockets.
Peck was charged with trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs and taken to the Butler County Jail. He faces a mandatory prison sentenced of up to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $20,000.
Agents had been investigating Peck for a month after receiving tip from the public that he was dealing in heroin. Peck had bee arrested in June 2010 for trafficking in drugs by BURN agents and was sentenced to one year in prison. Records reveal he was released in June of 2011.
