EDGEWOOD, KY (FOX19) - Police in Kenton County are looking for the suspects who burglarized the same pizza place three times.
Garzelli's Grinder and Pizza Company on Dixie Highway in Edgewood was first burglarized on Oct. 3 at around 4:15 a.m. The suspects broke a window and pried a door open, taking almost $800 in cash and a bottle of whiskey.
The restaurant was burglarized again on Oct. 12 at about 3 a.m. The suspects again broke a window and took $600. Police recovered a fully loaded .25 cal magazine where the suspects entered the restaurant.
The suspects struck again on Thursday, Oct. 28 just before 3 a.m. The suspect again broke the window but were not able to get anything after being scared off by a motion detector.
Police say that a black or dark colored two door Dodge or Plymouth Neon with a small spoiler on the rear fled the scene and went south on Dixie Highway. The vehicle and occupants stopped at the Speedway on Dixie Highway and purchased several packs of cigarettes at 3:15 a.m.
