EVANSTON, OH (FOX19) - Fire crews battled a 2-alarm fire Monday morning in Evanston.
The fire broke out at about 5:15 a.m. at 1980 Rutland, near the cross streets at Montgomery and Trimble.
It's a four story building, but the fire was contained to an apartment on the third floor. Several other units suffered water damage. Investigators believe the fire was started by food left on a stove.
Residents are starting to be allowed back in the building.
