A arrest has been made in a bank robbery that occurred in Norwood on Monday morning.
At about 9:44 a.m., the Huntington Bank in Rookwood Pavilion was robbed. The suspect entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money and provided her with a sandwich baggie to put the money in.
The teller put the money in the baggie and the suspect fled the scene.
After a description was put out of the suspect, a Norwood officer spotted a subject matching that description walking on Smith Road and followed him to an address on Duck Creek Road, not far from the scene of the robbery.
Officers followed up there and arrested Matthew Easter, 31, for Aggravated Robbery. Easter was cooperative and admitted to the crime to investigators. He was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
