Florida man arrested in Warren County in custody of U.S. Marshals

LEBANON, OH (FOX19) -

A Florida man who was arrested on Saturday in Warren County is in the custody of U.S. Marshals, pending a hearing before the federal magistrate.

Rondell Reed, 52, was arrested Saturday after leading police on a high speed chase in Franklin County.

Reed and another inmate escaped from a Sheriff's Office in Florida on Monday, Oct. 24. The other suspect was arrested shortly after they escaped.

Reed was being held in Florida on first degree murder charges.  He will be in federal custody until he is returned to Florida.
