It's a historic building, built in the 1880s. It's served as everything from a dry good store, a dress store and now Ryan's Tavern.
"When ever you tear into an old building, you disturb the spirits, it creates an atmosphere for things happening in your building," said Don Ryan, tavern owner.
Unexplained things have happened since the tavern opened.
"Chairs being thrown down," said Ryan.
"I've seen the elevator open on it's own and that shouldn't happen."
Two years ago Ryan's Tavern started their ghost tour, giving an opportunity for people to experience the unbelievable themselves. Tour groups are lead by the investigators of Tri-ops Paranormal.
"When we came in, we found that every floor of this establishment is very active," said Charles Spicer. "A matter of fact it is one of the most active places we have been in four years."
The next ghost tour is on Nov. 13th and there are still several spots open for that tour.
