FORT WRIGHT, KY (FOX19) - Police have identified the driver who died after a crash Wednesday night in Kenton County.
Investigators say John Noe, 61, of Batavia, was operating his Ford Escort in the left lane of I-275 near Ky. 17 just before 6:30 p.m. when he was struck by a dump truck driven by Aaron Taylor, 30, of Sardinia.
Police say traffic was stopping due to road construction lane restrictions that was being done in the area. The dump truck was being operated in the center lane when it came over into the left lane and knocked the Escort off the overpass, causing it to land on the ground below near Ky. 17.
Noe was pronounced dead at the scene.
