CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Protesters from Occupy Wall Street visited their fellow protesters in Occupy Cincinnati during a meeting on Thursday.
The two groups met at Buddy's Place on 13th and Vine St. Thursday evening during a General Assembly meeting for Occupy Cincinnati. At the meeting, the Occupy Wall Street members provided inspiration and relate their experiences to the fellow protesters.
Jackie Disalvo was one of the Occupy Wall Street members that visited the Queen City, and she told the group, "We have shown we represent the 99%, the feeling of the American people in the polls. The Tea Party is going to be a footnote in history as soon as people get a chance to vote out those disgusting freshmen Republicans."
Protesters say they stand in opposition to social and economic inequality, corporate greed, corruption and influence over the government from the financial sector and lobbyists.
