MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - Middletown Police and the Ohio Investigative Unit conducted a compliance check to see if liquor stores would sell to underage people.
Subjects were sent into various liquor stores around Middletown. They were told to show their real identifications if asked, which would indicate they were only 17-years-old.
Six different stores sold alcohol to the underage people. They were given citations and will appear in court on Wednesday.
The majority of the places tested did not sell to the minors.
