A Cincinnati Bengal made a surprise visit to a West End elementary school on Tuesday.
Bengals linebacker Robert Geathers made a visit to the Hays-Porter Elementary School to send the message that learning is cool. During his visit, Geathers compared football to his days in the classroom.
"Make it a challenge to do better or get a higher score and that's what pushed me when I was in school," said Geathers, "I think that was really important for me getting where I am today because in my field now I still have to compete with guys that are younger than me, stronger than me, faster than me."
The visit was set up by the Marvin Lewis Community fund.
