The public art display featuring decorated fiberglass pigs will be making a comeback on the streets of Cincinnati this summer.
An announcement was made on Wednesday that the Big Pig Gig will be returning with a new twist to celebrate the 2012 World Choir games.
Officials from ArtWorks Cincinnati, C-Change Class Six, the World Choir Games and Cincinnati mayor Mark Mallory were all in attendance at the announcement.
In 2000, the Big Pig Gig was created by ArtWorks Cincinnati as a public project to Celebrate Cincinnati's 'Porkopolis' history. More than 400 artistically-designed pigs are generating an economic impact of $174 million and brings more than one million visitors to the area.
