Dixie Football Coach stepping down

CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY (FOX19) - Dixie Heights head football coach Tom Spritzky confirmed to FOX19 he won't coach the Colonels next season. Spritzky says he's retiring as football coach but will stay at the school as assistant principal.

Spritzky coached at the school 17 years. The Colonels lost in the first round of the Kentucky playoffs days after the team's star quarterback, Zeke Pike and two other players, were suspended.
