Riverside Drive reopen after gas main break

EAST END, OH (FOX19) -

Riverside Drive is reopen in the East End after a broken gas main shut it down for a few hours.

It happened in front of a Duke Energy power station just before 9:30 a.m. when construction crews bust a 24-inch gas line. Duke Energy are working to repair line.

A small condo was evacuated due to the strong smell of gas in the area, but no injuries have been reported and no gas service was affected.

Riverside Drive was shut down in both directions for about two hours.
