Middletown Police investigate strong armed robbery

MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) -

Middletown Police are looking for a suspect after a strong-armed robbery.

It happened Sunday night just before 10 p.m. in the parking lot of Marsh Supermarket.

The female victim told police that as she was exiting her car, a male dressed in dark clothing approached her and ripped her purse from her shoulder, then took off running.

The victim gave chase and lost the suspect at around Elmo Place.

A police K9 tracked the scent and lost the suspect in the area of Franklin Street and Flemming Road.

    The Justice Department has opened an antitrust investigation into whether AT&T and Verizon and a standards-setting group worked together to hinder consumers from easily switching wireless carriers.
