Apartment residents robbed at gunpoint

MIAMI TOWNSHIP, CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - Police in Clermont County's Miami Township are investigating two robberies at an apartment complex.

On Nov. 11 at 3:15, officers received information that a male victim had suffered a head injury during a robbery at his apartment on Heatherwood Court. The victim told police that he had been robbed at gunpoint by three black males who took personal items and cash from his residence.

After the robbery all three suspects fled the scene in an unknown type vehicle in an unknown direction.

During the investigation, officers learned of a second victim who was also robbed by the same suspects at gunpoint in a separate apartment within the same complex.  The second victim also suffered a loss of personal items stolen during that robbery.

"Our investigators were able to retrieve some physical evidence from the scene and will be processing that evidence for additional identifying characteristics of the offenders," said Miami Township Assistant Police Chief Sue Madsen. "We're also hoping that others may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area of the robbery that day, and if so, we're asking for them to call us with that information."

Anyone with information should call Miami Township Police at 513-248-3721 or call Crime-Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
