CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Some tri-state preschoolers are ready to do some household chores to earn money to help purchase food for local families in need.
Children at The Primrose School of Symmes have spent the past month completing extra chores at home to earn money for families in need. After combining their earnings, and creating a detailed shopping list for the grocery store, the children are ready to shop.
As part of the Balanced Learning Curriculum, Primrose Schools' Caring and Giving program helps students understand the value of generosity and creates a hands-on approach to math, nutrition and planning skills.
The children will next go shopping with their teachers at the Kroger Store at 9939 Montgomery Road on Thursday, November 17th from 9:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
