City leaders gave a tour of the city's Riverfront Transit Center on Monday.
Opponents of the center say it is unused for the majority of the time and question if its being used to its full potential.
The transit center helps link the central riverfront attractions to downtown.
"We would really like to use it more, but we do use it as much as we can," said Michael Moore, Director of Transportation and Engineering. "When we start to see more transit options come into play like the eastern corridor, when we start to see the riverfront build out more, with more and more and more great attractions down here, you're going to start to see it used more. We're just a little ahead of our time."
City officials say the center is also used to keep heavy traffic off the road during big events at Paul Brown Stadium and the Duke Energy Center.
