AMELIA, OH (FOX19) - Bengals defensive end Michael Johnson visited Amelia Middle School on Tuesday to kick off the Play 60 Challenge.
The Cincinnati Bengals joined forces with the American Heart Association to launch the Play 60 Challenge, which is a program designed to help schools create an active and healthy lifestyle for kids.
Johnson visited students from the 6th, 7th and 8th grades to talk to them about the importance of being heart healthy and active.
"A lot of times people get to be an adult and they kinda get stuck and they just kinda settle in to what they have. But they don't have to be like that if we can get them started early," said Johnson.
According to the American Heart Association, only one in four kids get 30 minutes of physical activity each day.
