CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Fire Department has put out a fire that was on the roof of the Western & Southern building downtown.
Crews were called to the building at about 5:30 pm. Crews on the scene say that the fire was caused when construction workers, who were working with blow torches, accidentally left a hot spot unattended.
The fire took about half an hour to knock down.
Construction crews have been working on the roof at the Western & Southern building for the past few weeks.
Traffic downtown was restricted around the area of the fire as crews investigated the scene.
