NORTH FAIRMOUNT, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Police are trying to figure out who removed two caskets from crypts at the Baltimore Pike Cemetery in North Fairmount.
It happened sometime between 5 p.m. on Nov. 22 and 6 a.m. on Nov. 23.
Police say the suspect(s) entered the cemetery on Costello Avenue and broke open four crypts, removing two caskets, and one receptacle containing cremated remains.
The casket lids were pried open, but nothing was taken.
The cemetery is closed while police investigate the incident.
