CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The owner of a Clifton Heights restaurant that was the sight of an explosion last week was indicted on charges related to the explosion, along with his son.

Aiman Arabeiat, 45, was indicted on two counts of aggravated arson by a Hamilton County Grand Jury on Wednesday. Investigators say that Arabeiat purposefully set fire to his own business.

Also included on the indictment was a charge of tampering with evidence against Aiman's son, Amjud Arabeiat, 19. According to court documents, he attempted to either hide or destroy clothes that were being used in the investigation.

Aiman Arabeiat was in court on Tuesday, where he denied that he had anything do to with the explosion that destroyed the Jerusalem Restaurant on West McMillan. Arabeiat was badly burned during the explosion, and had to be brought into court in a wheelchair.
