The U.S. Bank Ice Rink on Fountain Square hosted the 5th annual Turkey Bowl on Wednesday.
Participants aimed frozen turkeys at bowling pins laid on the ice and tried to knock them down. Whoever knocked down the most pins was the winner.
This year's winner was Jeremy Hennesse and he told FOX19 the secret to his success.
"My strategy to it was that I didn't realize it was this cold, and I didn't wear a coat, so the shaking helped my throw a little," said Hennesse.
Hennesse won $55, a DVD and the Turkey Bowl trophy. Everyone had to bring two canned goods or a $5 donation to compete.
