(FOX19) - Pickerington Central scored a touchdown with just under five minutes left in the game to break a 7-7 tie and give the Tigers a 14-7 win over St. Xavier in the Division I state semifinal at Welcome Stadium.

The Bombers took an early 7-0 lead on a nine yard touchdown run by Kevin Milligan in the first quarter. The Tigers scored later in the quarter to even things up at 7. Senior running back Conor Hundley, who rushed for 156 yards and four touchdowns in an early-season win over Pickerington Central, was held to just 51 yards on 18 carries.

The Tigers will play Cleveland St. Ignatius, who also won Saturday night, next Saturday at 7:00pm in Canton for the state championship.

The Tigers are after their first state football title. Pickerington Central advanced to the Division I semifinals in 2008 where they lost to Elder 24-10 at Welcome Stadium. They did reach the Division II state final in 2006, losing to Piqua 26-7.
