Reward offered after RV's set on fire in Ross Township

ROSS TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

A reward is being offered to anyone with information on the suspect(s) who set fire to several RV's at a storage and repair business in Ross Township.

The Ross Township Fire Department say what started out as suspect(s) breaking and entering and stealing items from RV's stored at Southwest RV Service and Storage on Wade Mill Road, turned into a fire that totaled six RV's and damaged a seventh.

Officials believe the person(s) who broke into the RV's, set them on fire to cover up the theft.

The fire was reported just after 2 a.m. Monday. Officials say there were no security cameras on the property, so a description of those involved is not available.

A Blue Ribbon Arson Reward of up to $5,000 is being offered to anyone with information on the fires. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Division of State Fire Marshal at 1-800-589-2728 or the Ross Township Police Department at 513-863-2337.

Colerain Township Fire Department helped put out the fire.

There were no injuries were reported in the fire. The damage is estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
