Public forum to discuss study on USPS processing center in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A public forum is being held Tuesday evening to talk about a feasibility study done at the Cincinnati Processing and Distribution Center.

The United States Postal Service is looking to close several processing centers across the country, and the Cincinnati center is under study. If it is selected for closure, the center would consolidate with Louisville, Columbus or Indianapolis.

The Cincinnati District Office has completed its review and submitted it to the Eastern Area Office for consideration.

The public meeting will be held Tuesday, Nov. 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington. Officials will explain the study results and what operational changes they proposed.

Employees and the public can submit comments on the study up to 15 days after the public meeting. Comments may be mailed to:

  • Manager of Consumer and Industry Contact
  • Cincinnati District
  • 1591 Dalton Avenue
  • Cincinnati, OH 45234
