ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A 74-year-old woman and two teenagers were taken to the hospital after a crash Monday night in Anderson Township.
It happened around 7 a.m. on Clough Pike near State Road.
Police say a Toyota Celica driven by Helen Payne, 74, was traveling east on Clough Pike when she struck a pot hole and lost control of the vehicle, causing her to cross left of center. The Celica hit a Jeep Cherokee head on.
Payne was entrapped in her vehicle and had to be extricated. She was taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The two occupants of the Jeep, both 17 years old, were taken to Anderson Mercy Hospital for minor injuries.
Payne was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
