CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Jury selection continues Tuesday in the re-sentencing of Rayshawn Johnson.
Johnson was convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of Shanon Marks, but an appeals court recently tossed the sentence, saying his lawyers didn't investigate his abusive childhood.
A jury will hear arguments from both sides, then recommend a sentence. Prosecutors are still pushing for the death penalty.
Jury selection began Monday and is expected to continue all day Tuesday before opening statements are made on Wednesday.
