Driver in serious condition after crash on Ronald Reagan ramp
COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -
The ramp from the westbound Ronald Reagan Highway to Colerain Ave. was closed for several hours after a car crashed into a pole Tuesday afternoon.
The Colerain Township Police Department says that at around 2:45 pm, a car crashed into an electrical pole, causing wires to fall. The female driver of the vehicle was transported to Mercy Mt. Airy Hospital after the accident.
The ramp was shut down as crews worked to clear the fallen wires from the scene.
Police say drugs and/or alcohol were not factors in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Colerain Township Traffic Safety and Hamilton County Sheriff's Traffic Safety Units.
