Six Miami University football players received post-season awards

CLEVELAND, OH (FOX19) - Six Miami University football players were honored with Mid-American Conference 2011 post-season awards Wednesday.

Sophomores Dayonne Nunley and Nick Harwell were both named first team honorees on the Mid-American Conference's 2011 All-MAC Football Team. Cornerback Nunley led Miami with three interceptions and 13 break-ups and Wide Receiver Harwell set a school record with 97 receptions for 1,425 yards and nine touchdowns.

Senior offensive guard Brandon Brook was honored with a second-team All-MAC selection for the third consecutive year.

Senior linebackers Jerrell Wedge and Ryan Kennedy and junior defensive lineman Austin Brown were selected as third-team choices. Wedge finished second among Miami defenders in total tackles with 84, Kennedy was third with 75 stops and Brown collected 33 tackles.
