FRANKLIN COUNTY, IN (FOX19) - A suspect who prompted a manhunt in Franklin County last month has been arrested.

Police say Troy Daugherty, 49, of Laurel, was involved in a domestic dispute on Nov. 17. When police responded to the scene, Daugherty tried tor un over one of the deputies in an attempt to escape. A physical confrontation between Daugherty and the deputies resulted in a deputy shooting a tire on Daugherty's vehicle.  Daugherty managed to escape on foot into a nearby wooded area after which an intense manhunt began.

Daugherty has managed to elude police for the last couple of weeks. Arrangements were made for him to turn himself in, and he was booked in the Franklin County Jail on Nov. 30 on charges of aggravated batter, resisting law enforcement and possession of marijuana.

He is currently free on bond.
