Police investigate large fight between punk rock groups

WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) -

Police are investigating a large fight that broke out between two punk rock groups.

Police say Planet Dance Uptown, a ballet studio, was hosting an alternative/punk rock show with about 150 people in attendance on Thursday night.

According to witnesses the show was being attended by alternative /punk rock followers known as ‘Straight Edgers.' Straight Edgers are known for being an alternative/punk rock group with a drug/alcohol free belief. During the show followers of another alternative/punk rock group known as ‘Swing On Sight' arrived and a dispute/fight erupted between the two groups.

Several people sustained non-life threatening injuries. No one was taken to the hospital.

No arrests have been made.
