Police and SWAT have arrested a man who they believe was involved in a robbery early Monday morning in Over-the-Rhine.
Police arrested Gilbert Hogston, 28. He was found hiding in a vacant building just down the street from where the robbery occurred.
The robbery happened at around 4:45 a.m. when a victim told police that a white male in his 20's robbed him of some cash.
Police got a description of the suspect and found someone matching that description a short time later at the intersection of Race and Findlay. The suspect took off on foot, and police called in a K9 to track him.
He was tracked to a building on Elm Street, but police didn't find anything inside. When officers exited the building, they saw lights flashing inside, so they called in SWAT.
SWAT found Hogston hiding under a piece of carpet in the vacant building.
