Bengal players go toy shopping for needy families

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Players from the Cincinnati Bengals are helping make the holiday season brighter for 50 local children from the St. Vincent de Paul Adopt-A-Family program with a once in a lifetime Christmas shopping spree.

The annual "Shop With the Bengals" event partners Bengals players with local children in need. While shopping, each child will have the opportunity to select his or her own Christmas presents, valued at up to $300, thanks to the donations from each player who is buying the presents for each kid. The children are also encouraged to share in the spirit of the season by selecting a gift for someone else, such as a sibling or parent.

Members of the Cincinnati Bengals who are taking part in the event include: Nate Clements, Andrew Whitworth, Bobbie Williams, Domata Peko, and Rey Maualuga.
