Teens rescued from flooded creek

BATAVIA TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Two juveniles were rescued Monday after they attempted to cross a flooded creek.

It happened around 4 a.m. near Old SR 74 and Stonelick Olive Branch Road in Batavia Township.

Police say the boys were in a vehicle that got stuck, requiring them to exit and stand on the vehicle until help arrived. Fire units and deputies safely rescued the teens without any complications.

The boys were not injured and placed in the care of their parents. No charges have been filed.
