Ballerina photo gallery to showcase Cincinnati's grit and grace

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Professional photographers and artists from across Cincinnati have collaborated on a new photo exhibit that will be open on December 11th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Arnold's Bar & Grill at 210 East 8th Street in Cincinnati. Urban Ballerina captures the contrast of the city's grit and grace featuring two professional ballerinas juxtaposed against Cincinnati's downtown streets and alleys. The concept, conceived by local photographer, Jenn Prine and ballerinas, Courtney Hellubuyck and Abigail Maruna, combines two of the city's prominent art forms.

Bryan Kopp, founder of Redmark Agency and whose images will be on display at the exhibit, commented, "Cincinnati is known as a blue collar town with a bit of an edge, but it also has many talented photographers and elegant dancers, and we wanted to showcase both in what turned out to be a stunning photo shoot. To be involved in something like this was a tremendous experience. The photos truly tell a unique, beautiful and complimentary story of our city."

The exhibit is free and open to the public, and will feature pieces from eight professional photographers and artists. All the photographers and ballerinas will be at the exhibit for questions or interviews. In addition, select photos will be for sale.
