Hope For The Warriors Announces Holiday Giving Initiative

Hope For The Warriors is pleased to announce their Holiday Giving Initiative for 2011.  The Holiday Giving Initiative matches military families with donors who want to "give back" this holiday season. 

The organization is accepting referrals for military families that would benefit from this program.  Hope For The Warriors is also accepting donations from corporations and individuals who are interested in helping families of wounded or fallen service members. 

Hope For The Warriors is a national nonprofit organization that assists combat wounded service members, their families, and families of the fallen. 

This program is completely managed and coordinated by Hope For The Warriors; all recipients are kept anonymous.  Qualifying families will receive Visa gift cards by mid-December, giving parents time to visit stores and purchase gifts for their children in time for Christmas.

Hope For The Warriors assists service members and veterans wounded after 9/11, their families, and families of the fallen.  The organization serves members of every military branch, including reservists and the National Guard.  

"Many of our families are already struggling during this time of transition and uncertainty," Hunt said.  "We want to ensure that the holiday season is a celebration for the entire family, not a source of stress."

The mission of Hope For The Warriors (www.hopeforthewarriors.org) is to enhance quality of life for U.S. service members and their families nationwide who have been adversely affected by injuries or death in the line of duty. Hope For The Warriors actively seeks to ensure that the sacrifices of wounded and fallen warriors and their families are never forgotten nor their needs unmet.
