West Chester officer charged with leaking information may consider plea bargain

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

A West Chester Police officer who was charged with leaking confidential information may now be considering a plea bargain.

According to court documents obtained by FOX19, David Busemeyer is accused of tipping off a drug suspect about a sting operation.

Police say that drug suspect is the brother of a woman Busemeyer was having an affair with.

The documents also say that he was using drugs himself.

His court date is now set for January 30th.
