FOX19 operated on limited power Thursday morning after a power outage affected the Queensgate area.
The power outage hit the station at about 5:10 a.m. and came back on right after the end of our broadcast.
Duke Energy spokeswoman Sally Thelen reported that about 370 customers in Hamilton County were without power due to a substation problem in Queensgate.
There was also a large outage Thursday morning in Boone County, where about 4,500 customers were without power for about 2.5 hours. Thelen says there was a problem with a transmission line between Burlington and Florence at about 5:30 a.m. Power was restored around 8 a.m.
Thelen said its unclear if either incident is weather-related.
