Teachers and celebrities play basketball for a good cause

FAIRFIELD, OH (FOX19) -

Teachers at a local school took on Cincinnati celebrities in two basketball games for a good cause Wednesday afternoon.

The games took place at Fairfield Intermediate School as part of the I CAN basketball assembly. The assembly was organized to teach students they can overcome adversity in their lives.

"Sometimes life is difficult and we just need to have faith to know that I can make it through things with faith, courage, and tenacity," said Tim Lewis, a math teacher at the school.

Among the celebrities were Joe Nuxhall's son, Kim, former Bengal, David Fulcher and FOX19's Sheila Gray and Katy Morgan. The celebrities beat the teachers in both games.
