Blue Ash police warn about residential burglary

BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) -

Blue Ash police are warning residents about a recent home burglary. Police say someone tried to break into a home in the 9000 block of Ash Court. Police say the burglar broke a window with a BB or pellet gun, but they were scared off by the homeowner.

Police believe the burglar wanted to steal a big screen television and they believe the homeowners were not home at the time.

The Blue Ash Police Department reminds residents to make their houses look occupied when they are not at home.  Close your blinds and leave lights on.  Residents are also asked to watch for suspicious activity in their neighborhoods, especially over the holidays, and to contact police immediately if any activity out of the ordinary is observed.  If going on vacation, contact the police department to request extra patrol of your residence.

Anyone with information on the above offense is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 352-3040, or the Blue Ash Police Department at 745-8555.
