HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - Police respond to a Hamilton pharmacy after a robber leaves behind a case with a note saying it is a bomb.
Hamilton Police say a man armed with a gun entered the Community First Pharmacy in the 200 block of South Second Street around 11:30 Friday morning and depended money and pills. After the suspect took the drugs and money he left behind a small VHS cassette case with a note saying it had a bomb inside.
The Amity City Fire Department responded along with the Bomb Disposal Unit from the Butler County Sheriff's Office. The cassette case was empty and no one was hurt.
No word on how much money or what kind of pills the robber got away with. The case is still under investigation.
