One-alarm fire causes damage to apartment building

WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) - A one-alarm fire in Westwood caused $40,000 worth of damages to an apartment building.

The fire broke out a little after 7p.m. Saturday night.  Fire companies aggressively attacked the building and were able to knock the flames out in ten minutes.

Residents who live on the first floor were home during the fire and were able to leave the building before rescue workers arrived on the scene.

No injuries have been reported.

The Cincinnati Fire Investigation Unit continues to investigate the incident.
