Murder and assault suspect turns himself into authorities

DRY RIDGE, KY (FOX19) -
A man who was on the run in central Kentucky has turned himself into state police.
William C. Ross, 36, of Ewing, Ky was wanted on charges of murder and first degree assault in Bourbon County.
Ross is accused of killing Leroy Richardson, 57, and injuring his son on Christmas Day.
According to the Lexington Herald-Leader, Leroy Richardson, who was found at a home about 1:30 a.m.
Bourbon County Deputy Coroner Dee Gee Ison says Richardson apparently was shot. Ross also is charged with first-degree assault for allegedly shooting and injuring Joey Richardson. Ison said he appeared to be in "pretty good condition" when he was taken to the University ofKentucky Medical Center.
