EAST PRICE HILL, OH (FOX19) - Investigators are trying still trying to determine the cause of a fire that struck an apartment building in East Price Hill Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters received a call at around 12:45 pm that smoke coming from a first floor apartment located on the 3600 block of Warsaw Ave. When crews arrived at the scene, they quickly made their way into the building and were quickly able to put out the fire.
Damage is estimated at about $8,000. The Cincinnati Fire Investigation Unit has yet to determine a cause of the fire.
Fire crews say that the use of smoke alarms alerted the other occupants of the building and prevented the fire from becoming worse than it was.
