FAIRFIELD, OH (FOX19) - Rick's Tavern is one of Fairfield's largest sports bars and their business hurts when the Bengals games are blacked out on Sundays.
In fact, owner Steve Minnielli says his business goes up 40 percent when the Bengals are on TV.
"When it is a packed house, everyone is happy," said Minnielli. "Not just myself but all of the employees."
The Bengals have a chance to make the playoffs, something they haven't done since 2009 and have done only nine times in the franchise's 43-year history.
But Bengals fans hope another trip to the playoffs is secured with a win on Sunday against the Ravens. A win also would be a big help to the local economy.
"We are hoping for a sell out, just like everyone else," said Minnielli. "What we are really hoping for is for them to win. If they win then at least we know we will be on TV for the playoffs."
